Prices for Insulated Concrete Formwork (ICF) Liner Pools

Building upon the construction methods for liner pools, the next option is an insulated block walled liner pool, the blocks can be normal concrete blocks that you can by from any building materials warehouse, or the improved ICF blocks that are much easier to work with and have inherent insulation properties that combined with insulation laid on floor will make your pool extremely energy efficient. As expected,  given the construction food chain positioning, these pools need a higher labour input but the main benefit, apart from energy efficiency, is that with periodic liner change they last forever. These cost anywhere between £30,000 for a small 6m X 2.5m pool to £60,000 for a very generous 12m X 5m swimming pool including installation. As a typical example, a 8m X 3m ICF block work pool would cost £40,000 including installation.  For poolside paving, add another  £6,000 to £15,000. Excavation charges start from about £6,000.
